How bad is Bryce really injured?

I feel like it must be worse than Saban has indicated. I know he’s not going to declare Bryce good to go next week tonight, but he just keeps using phrases like “maybe we’ll have Bryce back.”

I think it’s absolutely more serious. Bryce didn’t even throw a pass in warm ups tonight. Hopefully we can get some Deer antler Spray on it this week and get him
Back.

Bryce trying to protect that million dollar arm. Can’t blame him for not laying it out there for BoB to screw up

It’s clearly bad. 50% Bryce would have been in the game at the end tonight. We’ll have Milroe again vs. Tennessee and it’ll look just like their game against LSU today.

If he was to the point of being available "if necessary", he would have played in the second half tonight. So he's clearly not to that point. I'll be surprised if we see him next week, and we will lose by 30+ if he doesn't play.

It would be perfectly understandable if he wanted to sit out. Couldn't even blame the guy. As much as we suck without him. Can't rush him back because the coordinator sucks and we missed on a QB evaluation

Saban: "Jalen is gonna live and learn, and we're gonna have to live and learn with him. We'll just see what kind of progress Bryce makes this week."

This doesn’t make me very confident that Bryce will be available.

One part of treatment for this is arm in sling. It seems if it was worse, he would have had it in a sling after he hurt it on the sideline but he did not.

I imagine they didn't think they needed Bryce to beat a&m so why rush him back, when we definitely will need him against Tennessee later. And he was right, but I don't think they were counting in 4 turnovers keeping a&m in the game. If we just hang on to the ball we beat them by 30+ even with milroe and bob calling plays

Reichard could’ve made things easier too.

This is true but how bad do things have to be to not put him in on that last drive. All we needed was 2 first downs, maybe one and it was sealed

He's there on the sideline celebrating using his right arm, ...all I know is that Tennessee smells blood in the water with or without Bryce. There is 0 chance to win without BY.

He tried to come into the game tonight and that was halted. I physically watched Bryce put his helmet on and run to the group huddle. I’m positive had they let him he would have played. He is playing against UT.

It’s our only chance of winning. I wonder how many plays he changes at the line that Bob calls?

You sure? I saw the pregame show in a restaurant (pretty sure it was CBS). They showed a running time to kickoff clock at the bottom of the screen. With about 45 minutes to go, they were showing Young standing in the end zone throwing passes to someone off screen.

If they knew he wasn’t going to play then it wouldn’t have made sense for him to throw any.

I disagree with this. Milroe played badly that's not in question. But if he doesn't turn the ball over we win comfortably. Probably something like 31-6. And we're talking about how it's going to be tough to win with Milroe but not impossible.
