Well, 1 of the 3 statements is true. That's not terrible as far as coach speak goes.

This is true. A&M's identity resolves around being a king slayer. They've replaced their kings over the years, but they're still good for a spoiler every now and then.

No big deal, the Aggie run defense is soft.
You can run read option all day long with Milroe and beat Aggie easily.

The lines are not "Vegas" making them. Vegas establishes a line and then money sends the line information to Vegas to lower or raise. If Bama starts as a 20 pt favorite and money is being bet on A&M to stay within 20, Vegas will drop the line to cover its possible losses. If people are betting Bama it will go up for the same reason. Yes, Vegas controls the line but it moves based on how people are betting. If Bama is a 20 pt favorite and lots of money is going towards A&M the line wont stay at 20.
I agree, Bama being a 20 pt favorite with an unknown situation at QB should be driving this line down. I thought Bama should open as a 12 pt favorite and probably should be down to 7 or so by now but bettors aren't seeing it that way.

The opening lines are what Vegas thinks the score will be. I think Bryce being out causes BOB to run the ball more and the Vegas computers must like that.
