Just watched the end of the Arkansas v. A&M game

for the first time. Not sure how I had previously missed the highlights.
Why are A&M fans deriding the Hogs on tRant? Arkansas outplayed them and should have (shoulda, woulda, coulda - actually applies when the opposition is smack talking a superior team) that game.
Also, App State.

No they didn't. Especially at the end. A&M held them scoreless for almost 3 full quarters of football. Can't really understand how you surmise that they outplayed us. Statistically the game was pretty close.

If Jefferson doesn't fumble going in for the TD and aggie gets the fluke return for a TD I suspect aggie would have folded. It would have been 21-7 at that point and the hogs had all of the momentum. Once that happened Arkansas looked deflated and A&M had new life.
But, the play happened and that's football. Good on aggie for closing the deal.

Watched the end and drew a conclusion based on it…. Figures.
Ags outgained Hogs in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Q and had a missed FG before half.
Hogs FG attempt happened with 1 1/2 minutes left in game. Ags were getting ball back with timeouts. Could have easily driven down for a FG attempt.

Based on all the metrics and percentages, the odds of A&M winning that game were astoundingly low.
But they did so that's all that matters. Just hate that a couple of wacky, unfortunate plays you rarely see happen all did in the same game for us. But those always seem to happen for us in this game every year.
