So far, I would say no.

Hall and Wooden are not going to quit.

The offensive line was more talented in 2012.

I think we exceed the depths of 2012.

2012 team was definitely better than this team is early in the season but the 2012 team also had some in-season attrition mixed in with straight up quitting that we don’t know will happen with this squad.

Both teams had one major thing that connected them. No Quarterback.

College football is a quarterback league now. If you do not have a good QB, you are basically fricked other than one or two teams that are loaded at every other position

If you look at some of these smaller teams that are playing way above their heads, they all have one thing in common. A good solid QB

We need a QB bad. Very bad

The only bright spot, the portal could save us if we get someone in charge who can manipulate the portal

No. I don't acknowledge we fielded a team in 2012. Complete blank in my mind.

Wasn't that the same line that carried AU in 2013? I remember hearing how great the line was before the BCS title game (I believe all 5 were seniors).

2012 had talent. Off field issues caused huge problems. 4 players arrested for breaking into a trailer with a weapon. Also some former players murdered.

Talent wise this is probable the worse team in 50 years.

This is hyperbole.

We had far, far less talent on the ‘98 and ‘99 teams, and probably less on the ‘81 team as well.

This team isn’t untalented, although certainly the weakest in the last 20 years of so. It’s just very poorly coached.

We need a QB bad, and that tells you all you need to know on Harsin. There were a lot of good xfr QB in the portal and most of them are doing well at their new school. We got broke shoulder Calzone and Robby.

I honestly think its two fold. If we had a line the qb may not look so bad. I wonder if they are almost shell shocked because they know the line cant block a 12 year old girl holding 2 ice cream cones.
