2025 vs ASU at War Memorial. That’s going to be awesome.

I think the state is ready to finally drop all games there. It looks awful on TV too. I will never understand.

2023 is what our OOC should look like annually. One decent game in September and a cupcake tune up in November. Copy that model year over year please.

This isn't new news.
Why bring up the GSD today?

I don't have an issue with playing an in-state opponent at War Memorial. Let's be honest, we wouldn't get more than 50K for a UAPB game in Fayetteville anyways.
Having a conference game in WM along with the A&M deal in Dallas was a bad deal and lead to a lack of good games in Fayetteville. I think this strikes a good balance.

Its a crappy stadium but they are trying to keep Little Rock boosters invested and maybe reach the dying Eastern Arkansas fan base.
Which is dying, I grant you, because people can't wait to move out of this area.
Still... play ASU, UAPB, or UCA at Little Rock you will get a decent crowd (which you won't get in Fayetteville) and a game that at least has some heat to it. It would keep the Little Rock boosters happy. It will also keep the lawmakers happy because they can glad hand the constituents at the ball game and every politician loves to kiss the babies.

I have no problem playing in-state schools there. No one else though, and certainly not conference games.

Isn’t this the best case scenario?
We keep all conference and big games in Fayetteville, not having to play LSU down there. Little Rock gets it’s game.
Obviously best case is not to have it happen, but if we are going to, and we are. Give them the FCS schools. We can use them not showing up as an excuse to cancel the contracts. Also we can let the other Arkansas schools we are now playing use it as their “home” game for attendance.
