7- UT 44th

UT's issue in Run Defense is the big play. Pitt's RB had 101 yards on 2 carries and a total of 53 yards on his other 23 rushes.

2- This was not the 2010s Bama team you played. It's SOUTHERN.

Alabama gave up 200+ rushing yards to both the Citadel and ULL a few years ago. What's your point?

You trying to come to any sort of conclusion about the strength of a unit in a blowout game against a nobody is hilarious TBH

The score isn't the topic. What you and the rest of the SEC allowed on the ground is.

Sorry you don't like where LSU ranks at.

1- This isn't a few years ago. It's after week 2, 2022.

2- The point is what the topic states. Ranking of the SEC teams post Week 2.

No, you trying to justify your ranking after playing a nobody is what's hilarious.

It is what it is.

See the bold.

If you think that a staff that is facing you next isn't going to look at the stats and then follow up with film,

You and I both know they are going to. Do you think they won't be able to tell when you put your "walk ons" in?

Aside from one huge run that our safety took a hopeless angle on our run defense is actually verging on competent

I've not watched a lot of UT. Hoping to finish the Pitt game tomorrow.

The Trojans aren't in the SEC; they be out in the Pac-12.

You must mean South Carolina, Carolina, SCar, or USCjr.

I saw the bold. Again, what's your point? It's already obvious why you don't want to address Alabama giving up 200+ to ULL and The Citadel in the same season.

You made this thread and have posted in this thread to try make a point, something you're struggling to do. You didn't make this thread just to post stats.

No, I don't think the State coaches are going to spend a ton of time analyzing stats from the Southern game, just like I don't expect coaches to spend a lot of time analyzing stats in Alabama's game against Utah St

I know we haven’t played anybody, but if Ole Miss can stay in the middle of the conference in defense, we should have a pretty good year.
Our defense seems to be getting a little better every year under Kiffin.

Kind of unfair since y'all have played two rushing teams

Also we're going to run over a good amount of teams this year. Y'all won't be that low at the end of the season.

Please follow the “go down 44 points and play the 3rd team” strategy

Play styles matter. Check our ranking next week after we face the Air Raid. I'll bet our passing ranking will go down and our running ranking goes way up on the defensive side of the ball.

Rankings don't matter until week 7 or 8. Congrats on a worthless thread.

BTW our linebackers suck.

I added some bold words for you as well.

Oh but they do. Just like whoever is playing TAMU is looking at Ap St and what they did right and how it compared to the the first game.

You think it takes a lot of time to break that down? LOL!

Yeah, nobody is going to do that. They are going to look at those plays like:

(11:30 - 2nd) Besean McCray run for 9 yds to the Sthrn 35 for a 1ST down

(11:30 - 2nd) Besean McCray run for 10 yds to the Sthrn 49 for a 1ST down

(2nd) Jerodd Sims run for 16 yds to the LSU 31 for a 1ST down

(5:38 - 2nd) Jerodd Sims run for 24 yds to the LSU 13 for a 1ST down

And they are going to compare those successes to the successes of FSU and see if there is something there for them to exploit.

We are going to see.

No matter how you want to go there, it was SOUTHERN U against all of your 4 and 5 stars.
