Here's the very well-respected QBR numbers through the 1st two weeks of the year (national ranks)

5. Jayden Daniels - 90.9
8. Stetson Bennett - 88.4
10. Bryce Young - 86.9
18. KJ Jefferson - 83.7
21. Hendon Hooker – 82.0
25. Jaxson Dart - 80.1
29. Will Rogers - 76.6
68. Brady Cook - 55.6
83. TJ Finley – 52.0
86. Anthony Richardson - 48.4
92. Will Levis - 44.8
95. Mike Wright - 43.7
100. Spencer Rattler - 41.7
110. Haynes King - 33.1

*Out of 131 QBs

Haynes would ONLY be the 2nd-lowest rated QB in the Sun Belt!

There's a reason why world-renowned QB whisperer, Jimbo Fisher, continues to play him!

Looked pretty bad for most of the game and then tore us up down the home stretch... the second game in a row that our defense played well until we got a good lead... and then shite the bed. We should be getting one of our safeties back so that will help. I hope.

We really haven't found a deep ball threat but KJ has been extremely efficient with the ball. 18/21 against South Carolina and one horrendous drop by a wide open WR for what would have been a home run TD.

I know drops plague every team now and then but I cannot help but wonder where Young would be if not for a few of those.

Man I got spoiled by our past WR corps.

Haynes King is a terrible QB but his huge helmet makes him very meme-able.

Do you mean JD? I think he had a decent QBR after the FSU game too. I’d rather a shitty QBR and a W but it’s still a number I’ll take any positive. Let’s see how it looks in a couple of weeks

It was 85.1 vs FSU. If he had maintained that he would still be around #12 - so while playing Southern definitely helped, you're correct that he was already doing very well.

It is ironic that a lot of LSU fans looked like they were blaming him for the loss to Florida State in several threads.
