This is all the players fault man. Obviously Saban didn't hire an offensive coordinator to coordinate his offense.
He expects these teenagers and early 20s to coordinate themselves and build entire gameplans for execution.

Fingers pointed right at BOB. No creativity or imagination. He better have a long talk with BOB. We have too much talent to look this crappy! Period.

I agree with you, however I think he needs to get into the arse of the entire coaching staff. That was all around one of the worst piss poor gameplan/performances I've seen since he's been here.

It's not just the gameplan. He sucks at playcalling.
I had a coordinator who was a savant at building gameplans but nutted up GameDay on calling the right plays because he just sucked at that game of "chess".
BOB sucks at both.

I get the impression that CNS is much less hands-on with his assistants than he was in years past. It isn’t working out so well.

I want someone at his Thursday show to ask him why we don't put the QB under center on 4th and less than a yard. Why is it that it was successful to put A'Shawn Robinson and Jonathan Allen behind Jake Coker in 2015, but it wouldn't be successful today? Do we even have one play in the playbook with the QB under center?

I’m confused. Does CNS just show up on game day to find out what plans the OC has?

Everyone else puts together a game plan to attack us. Seems like our game plan is to just react to theirs.

Everything that has been wrong since BoB and his buddy that fricked up the OL showed up in TTown was on display Saturday, but nothing was a better example than -
4th and 1, up by 1 on the road with a couple minutes left- defense been saving the day all day:
1. Kick the FG take the 3, force Texas to score TD on a great D to beat ya
2. If you gonna go then do not hand ball off six yards deep to THE FRICKEN THIRD STRING RB
Thats one of the more hard to explain moments from a management perspective I can recall under Saban. At that moment we were trying to lose.
Jase, Gibbs, or Young gotta have the ball there.
Last year Bama had two elite WR this year none. (Bond, Tyler, and AAnderson could provide speed) Burton is a possession guy.
The OL is a mess- least talented bunch we've had under Nick including 08

If you’ve got less than a yard, qb sneak the ball, 90% of the time you’ll get a first down, if not more.

The biggest difference between Sark and BOB imo:
O'Brien's offense it is predicated on the players executing at a high level consistently to succeed. He's a very "NFL coach" playcaller
Sarkisian's offense is predicated on the very fact that his players cannot be expected to always execute at a high level - consequently neither can the other team's players - so he schemes plays built on creating busts where the player doesn't have to execute precisely to get open in the throw game.
Obviously, Alabama is playing college ball so a pro style playcaller may not be best.

I wish BoB had promised only one season to Coach Saban. He is terrible, and I don’t criticize staff often, Bill is just here for the check.

Clearly calling out BoB

I have heard that Bryce is uncomfortable getting under center, which isn’t ideal, but ok, he’s probably not the best choice for a QB sneak at 5’10” and maybe 200 lbs soaking wet. However, we have a manchild backing him up in Jalen Milroe and we should have a short yardage/goal line package with Milroe under center, Jaheim Oatis at H back and Gibbs at tailback. If Milroe doesn’t keep it, Oatis plows the row for Gibbs and it ought to be easy to get a yard.

This. Guys like Sark, Kiffin and Locksley called plays designed to take advantage of weaknesses in a defense, create confusion for a defense, and thus create opportunities for the offense. Their schemes and playcalling helped hide issues with the offense, as well.
O'Brien's schemes and playcalling depend on the offense executing very well all of the time. The offensive line has to provide a QB with the opportunity to go through progressions during the play, rather than letting the QB essentially go through his reads pre-snap. O'Brien doesn't create confusion for a defense. He depends on Alabama players executing well every play and being better than the defenders on every play.

He also clearly said "didn't get people open" not "people didn't get open", which are 2 very different things.
One implies the players fault and the other the scheme/play.

FIFY because that's not even the NFL norm anymore. Kentucky runs the NFL norm new offense, which is entirely predicated on matchups (Shanahan/McVay).
The stuff BoB does is from the 2000s NFL that almost nobody runs anymore.

I tend to agree and Sark knew what to expect. Challenge us at making the play by applying pressure constantly. It was disruptive for out offense and it showed.
Our defense he showed why he is a great OC.

Maybe so.
Isn't that what practice is for?
