Why does the SEC outside of Alabama and Georgia think they are the same?

Florida sucks - they were lucky to beat Utah.
Kentucky, Ole Miss, and Tennessee are vastly overrated and haven't won anything of note.
Arkansas - got lucky versus a new coach last year. Barely beat a shitty Cincy team.
Little brother hasn't won anything.

Auburn -
Vandy, Mizzou, South Carolina, and Mississippi State - Yall have no business in the SEC.
Guess yall will just have to ride our coattails when we join too. SEC! TEXAS! SEC!

The answer is because it's not just UGA and Alabama who've won titles since Texas and OU have. That list also includes Florida, LSU and Auburn. Even UT won won just a couple of years before OU's last.

I don't pretend UK is on the level of Alabama or Georgia (though I do make fun of bamas new gay offense and Georgia's wannabe status)
Regardless, vandy has as many playoff appearances as Texas so i must assume there is some form of prestige in not being elite based on your view of your school.

Texas last won an NC in 2005. Their only 1 in the last 50 years. During that 50 year timespan the following schools that makeup the Future SEC have more (Bama- a bunch, OU-4, LSU-3, UF-3, UGA-2). AU and UTK each have 1, just like Texas. Welcome to the big leagues
