Not sure I care as much about the Washington players as much as that this would be a sign our coach is good at building relationships.

I definitely care about the UW players because they started on a championship caliber team last season, and these players play the positions that we need to be filling right now.

Agreed, even if they don't start at Bama, getting them as depth is just as important.
I'm curious if WR Jamaal Pritchett hops into the portal now that Kane Wommack left USA. He went off in their bowl game, he's an undersized deep threat that is great at tracking the ball. Led the team in TD catches IIRC.
Again, ceiling you get a starter, floor is you get experienced depth. Both important.

Pritchett and Lacy were absolute beast. Extremely shifty and can track the ball like you said.

While we have much bigger issues going on right now… 2025 commits Mason Short and Javion Hilson have also de committed along with Ffrench and Glover.

My main concern about RW that I haven’t seen mentioned in coach familiarity. While DeBoer’s offense could make him a savage, he will have known this coaching staff for around 2-3 weeks before his commitment date. He’s known Freeze’s staff much longer. Hopefully that doesn’t hurt us… but it is definitely something to look out for

These 2025 guys that are decommitting do we know if they still had an offer on the table from DeBeor? Just curious if he maybe told them he needs to wait and see what he wants/needs for 2025 before guaranteeing anything to anyone. The focus right now has to be on the current roster, transfer portal, and incoming recruiting class.
