As an outsider it’s amazing that a program like Auburn has a QB competition between Finley and Calzada

Honestly if you guys have at least 1 WR who can effectively stretch the field I'd just bomb it out to him 10-15 times a game as your pass plays considering how inaccurate Finley is anyways. Might as well use his best strength

Fair point but Dwayne Haskins was very good too. Urban said Burrow would be a star.
Finley left because he couldn’t beat out Max Johnson.

It’s an odd spot to be in and it reminds me of the Texas fans with Tom Herman and Charlie Strong. They were rooting against them so they would fail and get fired, only for the next guy to go 5-7
