Who gets the boot if the Big 10 and SEC start kicking out members?

Let’s face it: there are teams in the Big 10, ACC and Big 12 that are more profitable than current SEC and Big 10 members. If the SEC and Big 10 want to make as profitable of a 20-24 team conference as possible, they’d kick out some current members.
I think the Big 10 would kick out Northwestern and Rutgers. I’m sure that the Big 10 realizes by now that Rutgers doesn’t even bring the NJ market (let alone the NYC marker), and is embarrassed that they seriously invited Rutgers.
The SEC will drop Vanderbilt and Mississippi State.

Your premise is stupid and the teams you picked to kick out are also stupid
Vanderbilt and Northwestern are elite academic schools. Vandy is particular is important to the SEC because the conference as a whole doesn't standout academically.
Mississippi State has been with the SEC since inception and isn't going anywhere.
Rutgers does suck. 3 out of 4 ain't good but I guess it could be worse.

First, whose alter are you? Second, the SEC isn't about to kick out two charter members.

I wouldn’t be surprised if A&M and LSU shocked the world and left the SEC for the Big 10 tbh

Not this thread again.
First, I don't give a damn what the Big However Many does. And I'm not crazy about Texas & OU coming into the SEC, but there is a geographical fit of sorts.
Vandy and Miss. State are charter members. Both have top-notch baseball programs. They won two of the last three Nattys. They are going nowhere.
I can't wait for the off-season to be over so this kind of B.S. stops.

Yeah, I was trying to figure out who the third least valuable team in the SEC is.
I think it might be USCe. The second favorite team in a pretty small state.

Start by kicking out schools that haven’t had a winning season in the last 2 years.
Trim the fat!

Some of these schools will wind up leaving voluntarily when NIL $ really kicks in and they are only able to win 2-3 games per season on good year and the fanbase quits
