Baton Rouge 4-star RB Kaleb Jackson has committed to #LSU.

Frank Wilson lands the RB 1-2 punch in Louisiana by keeping Jackson and Trey Holly home for college. They head into their senior year as the highest-ranked backs in the state.

This kid has the potential to be one of the best backs at LSU in recent history and that's saying something. Big time to land Jackson!

Kelly silencing all the critics. It's been a very productive month.

Alabama was making a very strong push. I was extremely worried! Huge pick up and now two very good RBs on board!

That's a good get for LSU, top 6 composite RB in the country.
Congrats

I did not even know who this kid was until I saw earlier today a post about him committing today and then found out he OVed to UA recently.

Either way the kid looks good and definitely a good job on Kelly's part to keep kids home.

There seems to be a lot of talent especially in the south this year. So very hard to keep up with everyone that the staff is going after.

Which also means a lot of programs are going to have great classes come spring signed.

Not sure if it is my imagination, but it seems more kids (Even top rated ones) are committing earlier in the cycle. NIL maybe has something to do with it? I'm not sure. I remember Georgia fans having melt downs every July over our class and we have 13 (I think) in the class which seems like a lot for July, and almost everybody in front of us has more.

Maybe it's just my imagination or I am misremembering.

I believe they have to now to secure their spots with the no signing limit. Each class is now a combination of high school and transfer players. Gotta jump on the ship fast or get left at port, depending on your talent level

Evidently high school kids want to lock down their spot during the summer before potential upcoming portal movement.

The portal is going to destroy the potential future for a lot of 3 stars.
