LINK

Here’s a link to the current year’s national champions in each sport. Notice the number of SEC members and members-to-be titles vs the number from the Big 10. Maryland won the lacrosse title and Penn State won wrestling but then again, Pedo U has always excelled at pinning young men to something haven’t they? Ohio State has the nation’s best women’s hockey team. Congratulations. Your bitches obviously have the bigger balls in Columbus.

I’m pretty certain this year reflects a growing trend of SEC and other southern teams dominating in all but the winter sports. Pretty soon, all you’ll have left will be your hockey and cross country skiing teams to brag about. Have fun with that.

Blue blood is meaningless, especially when you guys mainly have national titles only your grand parents can remember… Ohio State would not have the record they do if they competed in the SEC since it’s inception. Same for any other “blue blood” program.

LINK

Just do not see Ohio State on this link.

Many of the schools listed have championships in low profile sports like wrestling, indoor track, tennis, skiing, Rifle and golf but championships.

Are you considering all sport of just the 4 major programs Football, Basketball, Baseball and Track & Field.

Recent or yesteryear.

I consider true championships that were won on the field through tournament play not by media the way football was chosen prior to the BCS.

Yeah since we have the most recent natty and are way more consistent than LSU I would assume you mean we are a cut above.

serious question for you. Why does Ohio State sign so many players from the deep South? I can only assume the midwest doesn't produce many elite athletes.

Basketball. That's cute.

Are you guys still chasing UCLA?

Of all the replies... the OP responds with this first. So, the OP is either a troll... a pussy... scared to respond, because he has none or all the above.

But if the SEC only has one blueblood program then maybe tosu should use that as a model for success.

For the record... I'm leaning towards the OP being a pussy.

True. Georgia is the reigning national champions of college football. The other two are not.

Lol

0-1 vs GA
0-2 vs FL
0-1-1 vs Auburn
0-2 vs SC
1-4 vs AL
0-1 vs TN
1-1-1 vs LSU

That 2-10-2 against the Big 6 in the SEC

Ohio State has 1 win, ONE WIN against an SEC team since 1990. You’d have 2 but you vacated your sugar bowl win over Arkansas.

UGA is 11-3 against the B1G, and that’s almost exclusively against winning Big 10 teams in Bowl games. Or in other words a .786 winning percentage. Meanwhile Ohio States winning percentage all time against the Big 10 including the slappy’s is .747.

Why is Georgia more successful against the Big 10 than Ohio State Sir Blueblood?

Tennessee was a blueblood of the 20th century.

No, they were not.

Their heyday was between 1925-1960. Aside from a few years here and there in the 60s, 70s, and 80s, they were a very bipolar program with ups and downs. Fulmer brought them back to the prominence they enjoyed under Neyland for a few years but that run only lasted from 1995-2001. And even though they were one of the best programs in college football during that time, they won the conference but twice and were consistently thwarted by Florida.

You still trying to elevate uga ahead of LSU. You simply don’t have the hardware in the trophy case. And yes based upon how long college football has been played 2000 until now is recent!

UGA and LSU as programs is a hair splitting exercise. UGA has more wins, a higher winning percentage, more bowl games, more bowl wins, more SEC Championships, LSU has a 4-3 NC edge and has the head to head. Both are top 12 all time programs. You’ll get no disrespect to LSU from this Dawg fan.

It's because most SEC teams don't have the same history/tradition as the mid-west teams.
Alabama is the exception.

We may not be a blueblood, but we own Ohio State.

Florida statue on Ohio State's campus.
