The Miami, FL product committed to LSU over Miami, Michigan, and Florida State.

A dangerous deep threat with first-class speed (10.6 100, 21.1 200), Brown chose LSU over Michigan, FSU, Texas A&M & Miami. He’s the nation’s No. 4 WR for 2023
Guess aTm over drafted their account after last year lol

This is a huge get for LSU.
The only concern I would have as a LSU fan is holding on to him until Signing Day with Miami spending NIL money like a drunken sailor. They are flat out buying players and I'd think they will spend big to land a hometown kid, especially one with his talent.

Good pickup.
I'm not knocking the kid's talent because I haven't watched any of his highlights, but can someone explain his ranking to me like I'm five?

How is he the #18 ranked player overall, and a 5-star, in the On3 Consensus when he isn't ranked as a 5-star on any individual site and his ranking isn't higher than #22 on any of them?

This is true, but we have now beat them twice for a player this cycle (as of now) and Miami insiders are now claiming our NIL game is no joke. Maybe we are picking it up in that dept?

I’d feel a lot more concerned about Miami if his mother didn’t live in Mississippi, which was a significant factor in him committing to LSU.

I think the perception that LSU is behind still in NIL is totally off base. Plus this recruiting cycle isn’t the one I’m expecting a top class but next year should be better based off relationships being made
