State set the record in 2021... with 2,965. Then Arkansas pulled ahead this year with over 8,000 before they exited the CWS.

Ole Miss says hold my red solo cup.

We finally win the party AND the game.

Not sure. I think Ole Miss and Arkansas were neck and neck until during or after that series, then an Ole Miss fan bought 2,000 shots to take the commanding lead.

Not surprised considering Omaha has been about 90% OM fans since Thursday

A friend of mine said he met a few State fans that were wearing Oklahoma shirts and gear and rooting against Ole Miss. Little bro gonna little bro.

Hey that's $36K to the food pantry in Oxford and a little over $17K to the one in Fayetteville. Well done, everyone.

Actually, the company that makes the Jell-O shots also jumped in on the charitable donations:

Haymans from Ole Miss told me he bought 1,000 shots prior to the Monday game against Arkansas.

That is over 30k jello shots sold at $4.50 a shot. Even with a $2 donation they are making at least $2 on those things. Not enough to buy a new Ferrari, but it's gonna be a good summer for Rocco.

I see the bar felt so bad about scamming people that they dropped the price by 50 cents.

I'm not saying $4.50 is a good price, but is it really a scam when the price is plastered on top of the board and people are still paying for them?

Yeah it's not a scam unless there is no alcohol in them.

The price is quite literally on the white board. I don't think the dipshit knows what a "scam" means.

....which also means he absolutely has 6 extended warranties on his 1997 Ford Taurus.

Of course it's a scam. That's what makes a scam a good scam, people volunteer for it. Look at all the people who got vaccinated.

The charity stuff is nice, but they could have just given them the full amount and given them even more.

Geez that is a lot of money spent on jello shots. Wonder who the poor person was that had to make them

*Ah never mind. I see now they were commercially pre packaged
