Look, here’s the problem. The SEC wasn’t as dominant as they have been in years past. That means the talent level wasn’t there and Tennessee appeared better than they actually were. It showed when the Irish put that arse in check on your own turf.

We were one of the most inconsistent hitting teams I can recall seeing.
We were an error producing machine at times.
Our pitching was horrendous.
We have a lot to clean up so LSU will need the #1 recruiting class and our boys need a lot of playing time in the summer leagues.
And I hope Morgan gets that right need repaired.

There are 5 to 6 players that we have no chance of signing as there signing bonuses will be significantly more than any NIL deal they would be offered.
The next 4 to 5 players will be the ones that will have to make a choice between MLB or NIL.
This is a strong class and yes, you could lose 10 of then to MLB.

If we can bring in a little more than half of the committed player plus a few arms from the portal, that will make a huge difference. Everybody is reloading, but with an extra year with JJ and the attrition of a few under .200 BA's, I like our chances next year.
