So let me get this straight...A&M is the #5 overall seed with a #22 RPI, presumably for winning the SECW, yet Arkansas is going to be a 2 seed somewhere for finishing one game behind them. And then Florida, who had a .500 record in the SEC, will be hosting for going 3-2 this weekend. And then you have GA Southern hosting with a 6-11 record against Q1 teams. That makes a lot of sense committee

TCU to College Station. You knew it was coming.

YES! I've wanted them since this was a possibility. And better TCU than OU

Okay then, we can pretend that your BRCC stats math was “correct” and you can attempt to take solace in the fact that you had a chance to host a regional before Tennessee broke your spirit yet again.

If Tenn doesn make it to Omaha, would that be the all-time worst choke job ever?

Last 21 games 16-5 vs 11-10. Florida and Arky.

so you logic is flawed because you are an LSU fan?
Are you the one who thought you would host because you would sell a lot of tickets?
No it’s the committees logic that is inconsistent
In Florida’s case, they are weighing the SECt heavily enough that a .500 team, none of the fans of which even thought they had a chance of hosting, skyrocketed into a host after only the tournament
In the same breath, Auburn who completely bombed the SECt, is hosting.
That’s the double standard. If they want to only use RPI then that’s their prerogative, but they better be prepared for teams to cancel a majority of their non conference games in the future

What a random stat used to justify the committee being dumb
You can’t give the SECT so much weight for Florida and then completely ignore it for Auburn...or give record in the SEC so much weight for A&M and ignore their RPI while doing the opposite for Arkansas

First, it was 4-2 this weekend. Second, Florida has more overall wins than LSU, more wins against SEC teams, with a higher RPI and tougher SOS. Keep crying though and enjoy the travels for regionals

Holy shite tu got a cakewalk regional.
Surprising the bigger names were sent to ECU instead. Should be a great super with any of the 8 teams that advance out of those two regionals.

I agree Florida has an impressive resume outside of conference regular season.
But that’s the main part of the schedule. If you can’t even get a positive record in conference then you shouldn’t be a host. I would say the same thing if LSU was 15-15. Florida shouldn’t have even been in this conversation unless they just had to fill a 16th team and the options were shaky

It's unfathomable to people that an individual with a rooting interest in something can set it aside and just discuss a sport in general in a non-biased way.

Auburn with an RPI of 14....and finished 1/2 game behind LSU because the bama game was rained out with Auburn having the bases loaded and one out when it was called.
what was LSU's?.......25
what was UF's?........12

I thought LSU fans were supposed to be knowledgeable about this college baseball stuff.

There is some massive irony in CS regional. TCU the number two team. Oral Roberts has to be tired of seeing us in Regional play, and most of all Deggs returns to Kyle Field!
Should be a great regional
