Curious to see what Jimbo can do with him.

It seems like it may be trending that way.

But who knows with the amount of information that comes out, we still thought there was a chance Calzada could be the guy in the middle of fall camp last year.

Tough arse kid but we all saw how that went minus bama.

I personally think you can win a lot of games with Max if you rely on your running game (Achane 7+ yds per carry last year) and defense and don’t ask him to do too much. However, it’s been shown that Jimbo wants to put every game on his QB shoulders to go out and win it for us and that proved to be a poor strategy in most games except Bama.

Verifying. Due to statistical analysis and probability based on this board's recent history, this post is the beginning of a shite slinging exercise populated by lsu and texas fans.

Might be another 8-4 year if he beats out the other QBs on the roser.

My gut feeling is it will be King and Johnson will backup. Weigman will probably get redshirted. But at this point it is just a guess. There was a pretty good battle for QB last year between King and Calzada. King won out due to his knowledge of the system and his scrambling ability. That did not even last two games until he got hurt.

Jimbo will play the QB that has the best chance of winning games.

I give it a 70% chance.

King is hot garbage and starting a freshman with our OL is unreasonable.

Aggy fans still trying to convince themselves that Jimbo didn’t promise Big Douche Brad that his mouth-breather of a son would start.

Nobody can blame Max for not wanting to be the 4th string QB at LSU when he could start for Texass gA&m.

Can’t wait to watch Max roll out to his right for the first time in an Aggy uniform

Good riddance.

I'm afraid that King isn't going to pan out, but Weigman might be ready sooner than you would expect. Johnson may end up bridging the gap to Weigman. Jimbo will have a tough decision between a guy with experience and one with potential.

Not sure

Maybe he does help us out.

Also a great bonus to have his brother the next 3-4 years.

He didn’t get much support last season so hard to know where his upside ends. I like him a little bit but he’s probably not going to be a game breaker.

Don’t know, but damn, I wouldn’t count on his brother not starting.

Max looked the most reliable in the Spring game but Weigman has the most upside. King looked like shite throwing the ball but he's one of the fastest guys on the team and Johnson is not as mobile.

All 3 are better than Calzada but Weigman looks like the only one with elite potential.
