Bourbon and horses. You'd be surprised. I moved here from Louisiana and it's like night and day. The food is decent, folks are polite, and the crime is not as bad as the media (cough cough Louisville) has made it out to be. There are plenty jobs for people without a college degree paying in the excess of $25-30 an hour. Plus the cost of living is dirt cheap. 4 seasons too.
