Why do people struggle so hard to distinguish an entire state from a state’s university.

I’ve always enjoyed Lexington. Nice town. Loved it when we had games when the races at Keeneland were going on

western Kentucky is an absolute, hidden jewel. Not "Western Kentucky Univ) but the I-24 corridor, Land Between the Lakes, Paducah and all along the Ohio west of there.
