& DSOR IS KEPT ANNUAL....Right?

Nope, not possible to keep all the rival games in a 16 team conference. More important to have everyone play everyone home and away every 4 years

9 game SEC schedule no perm rival. Every 4 years you play the other side.

Great if you are Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Florida, and Tennessee. Terrible if you are LSU, Ole Miss, and Mississippi State. Those teams are being deported out of the SEC into the Big 12.

There are better solutions that preserve the Florida/LSU and Alabama/LSU games every year.

Then UGA/Aub. will vote against due to this being a SEC & NCAA staple game.....longer than other rivalries people want to keep.

Hince the multiple plans people come up.
Do you want rivalries or quick rematches? My plan keeps all annual rivalries yearly & rematches every 3 years.

It's simple. Alabama and Auburn to the east and ou and tu to the west.

But 1/2 Gator fans want to keep LSU & the rest could care less. Unsure about Tiger fans.

All I can say is bring it on and let's all have fun.

Some pulled pork, brisket, sausage, country ham.

Kentucky Headhunters, Florida-Georgia Line, Travis Tritt, Willie, Miranda, Blake.

And a side of collards.

There will be permanent crossovers. Just like we have 1 permanent crossover. But it can be up to three permanent crossovers. This isn't hard to do with two divisions.

you just gave Alabama 3W's

I fail to see the concern.

In all seriousness… ferget divisions… schedule the permanents, play all home n home with a 9 game conference schedule, send the two best records to Atlanta for the SECCG.

While i reserve comment on the rest of your proposal, let me point out an obvious dumb move:

if youre balancing two, you dont go 1,3,5,7….
vs 2,4,6,8 where one side always has its position stronger than the other (1v2, 3v4, etc)

you “snake” it like 1,4,5,8,9,12,13,16

vs 2,3,6,7,10,11,14,15

It has to be some sort of pod situation with annual rotations.

Don't be a retard and look at last year for divisional splits and team rankings. That's just a single picture in time. Team strengths and weaknesses will change every year. Must avoid having a situation like it is today with the East being significantly weaker than the West...yet...having unequal distribution of cross divisional games.

Georgia and Alabama are no doubt the strongest SEC programs from 2021 season. However, this will very likely change in just one to two years. So folks need to be looking forward, not backwards to determine the right situation that benefits no one specifically.

Plus, I personally want to play Georgia more regularly. OU and ut?? Not a single SEC team is worried about those Big12 pretenters. Most SEC teams will benefit from those matchups. Can't wait until 2024!!! I can only imagine the hate being aimed at OU and ut and the dejected looks at their faces after Year 1.

Big agree with this. We’ll reform the SWC and and add OU, OSU and Mizzou.

All I care about is playing OU, LSU, Arkansas, and A&M every year. Regional rivalries are what makes cfb great. Texas and LSU recruit against each other heavily, they need to be playing.

They are not going to keep all these annual rivalries. It’s a 16 team league now, it’s not possible to do that and create competitive balance. We don’t even really have it now as it is. And they aren’t stopping at 16 btw.

I’m not happy about losing Bama, Auburn, and Florida.

It is what it is.
