That’s the report I just saw, probably nothing, but surprised we haven’t had to deal with this more.

Most names I have seen have said Nick Nurse is their main target, along with Juan Howard and Quin Snyder.

I wouldn't expect it to be Snyder. He's still salty about the way he was fired at Missorui and just saw the Lakers do the same thing to Vogel.

I'd stay away from any team that is associated with LeBron

Yeah, zero percent chance he wants someone that will actually coach him.

No one wants that job right now. They are saddled with Westbrook, Lebron and an injury-plagued AD for years to come and there is nothing they can do about it. Add in the Lebron "I'm the GM" factor and it's a disaster that no one wants.

Muss may love the west coast, but I have no clue how you take that job.

Leave it to Lebron to make the most coveted position in basketball radioactive.

It's more to it than Westbrook, Lebron and the players.

I’m not nervous about it, but it would be the most Arkansas thing ever to go back to back Elite 8s and have the overall #1 recruiting/transfer class coming in and have the coach leave for the LA Lakers job

Every podcast I have listened to has said it is Lebron she is listening to. The main one even said after the season an article throwing Westbrook under the bus would happen. Well that happened a day before the season ended. Said Lebron has started using his media force to make sure Russ takes the buyout over the summer.

If the worst were to happen, would we give Keith Smart a look at moving into the HC role? Lots of NBA knowledge and philosophy

I would assume Smart would take the spot yes, or I could even see Ruda getting it (although more unlikely) but I think he is the closest guy in terms of mindset and grind and work ethic to Muss. I think he is the guys Muss leans on the most throughout recruiting and game-planning.

But call me crazy, I don't know if could walk away from a program I just built into the #1 portal class and #2 recruiting class, just to go to the Lakers and be fired in 2 yrs.

Probably agent sourced buzz to help with raise negotiations. Makes no sense at all unless he or his wife absolutely hate it here. I get he is a west coast guy but the Lakers are toxic right now and who the hell would want to go be LeBron's bitch? If he gets next years team to preform to their potential then the fight to keep him will be real.

I doubt he would put this much effort into it and then leave. Usually when coaches go job searching after the season is over then begin they slacking off on recruiting.

Things are running too smoothly… keep waiting for someone to wind up in a hotel room full of hookers blow and underage girls…

I figure it is this, just a bunch of tweets and 3rd rate NBA sites keep saying it so far.
