Sounds like Missouri may soon have as many NFL teams as Arkansas

After ownership admitted failure and aborted the short lived experiment of the Rams in St Louis, now the Chiefs are exploring moving to the Kansas side of Kansas City, which is already the nice side where all the amenities are anyway.
How bad of a shite hole must Missouri be to lose 2 NFL teams? Has a state ever failed so epically before? How do these people get away with spewing trash about how they are a "pro sports" state when their franchises are fleeing left and right??

It’s fun to watch the midget wrestling between Arkansas and Missouri fans.

So what the Kansas side is some suburburiascape that a lamea$$ football owner would prefer. It’s the same city, still.

They are leaving arrowhead?

Kansas is better than Missouri in every way, as well as most other SEC states.

There are absolutely ZERO professional sports teams in Arkansas other than some minor league baseball teams.
Missouri has the Royals, Chiefs, Cardinals and Blues.
Are you seriously thinking you are winning this one?

Arrowhead is on the east side of KC, and not in a great area. Independence, etc., is pretty rough. Most of the money/season ticket holders in KC live south and west, stretching from the Plaza into Johnson County, KS (Overland Park, etc.). Kansas is trying to crawl out from under the damage Brownback did by building up the Legends area west of downtown, where the NASCAR track is and Sporting KC has a stadium. Building a football stadium out there would update a 50-year old facility (Arrowhead opened in 1972), be in an area with multiple dining and entertainment options, and be more convenient for most fans. I would fully expect this to happen in the next 3-5 years.

Lived in KC for 5 years and crossed into kansas on probably a dozen occasions during that time. Meanwhile everyone on the kansas side goes to KCMO weekly if not daily. All the attractions, landmarks, and history are in Missouri. The entire state of kansas was named after Kansas City, MO in an attempt to trick settlers into associating the state with the bustling city.

So I'm not that familiar with KC as only went there once for a daughter's sporting event. Went to Independence and I thought it was a cool town- someone above called it "rough".
the the stadium, I saw it from the highway and it seemed to be to be in an area where therre wasnt a lot happening. I didnt notice many upscale hotels or shopping restaurant, etc... at least not that I recalled.

Piss on the NFL
If the team leaves it should benefit Mizzou football.

Kansas might get a bit more in taxes and Missouri a bit less. That would pretty much be it.

My boy has Mizzou on the mind 24/7.
The Chiefs won’t leave this side of the state line.
