Still can't believe Bryce put that ball where he did, when Holden (11) was behind the entire defense.

Only the most perfect of throws would have had a chance vs ringo on that play because ringo was all over Holden.

Hooker was playing with an injured throwing hand though.

He wasn't injured, that's just how bad his accuracy is when he has to play real athletes

We did and he did. These are facts. He missed MANY wide open guys.

Your secondary was highly overrated last year as a healthy bama team shoeed in the SECCG.

Tennessee and Bama were the only elite passing teams that you went up against. Hooker was injured though and couldn't hit his recievers. That is a close game if Hooker hits his passes.

He left against Vandy with the injury which had slightly improved but was reinjured. It was already there since right before UGA game. My cousin works in the UT sports medicine program and said it was well known info heading into the UGA matchup.

I thought everyone knew this just using common sense lol. He was not himself at all that game. Missed so many easy wide open guys because of it.

I’m telling you guys, Tennessee's psssing game is going to give UGA fits this year. Even last year we had guys running wide open ghe entire game Hooker was playing with an injured throwing hand though.

Heupel doesn't make excuses period. I'm just telling you what happened and what i heard. My cousin is not the type to make stuff up.

Your defense was good last year but your secondary was far from elite. SEC overall was down in general last year.

You will have some issues this year against good passing teams. Don't say I didn't warn you. We can dig this post up if you like.

So your fat arse coach is also an idiot? His defenses make him seem like one, but suggesting he hides injuries that led to an arse whooping would add to the theory he is a fat arse idiot.

Anyways, If the injury were true, you probably wouldn’t be the only person that has talked about it. It’s just a bit too convenient.

Yeah Heupel is an idiot because his defensive coordinator inherited a depleted defense that was completely rekt by the coaching change and portal. Are you drunk right now? Heupel is one of the brightest offensive minds in football.

The truth is players play injured all the time at this level and the NFL . Why do you think so many get addicted to pain killers ffs? We sure as hell weren't going to trot Milton out there. I am sure there were some UGA guys playing injured as well. Once again....it is very common. My only point is UGA's secondary was not elite last year. Your dline made them look that way against mediocre passing offenses.

If they are thin this upcoming season then they will get exposed against UT and whoever else on your schedule with good returning QB and WR combos.

Who are your elite secondaries?

You have an opinion. Fair enough.
Who were the elite DB units in the SEC?
Who nationally was elite at DB with a bad DL?

If both corners and both safeties get drafted, does that change your opinion?

which is part of the reason the Malachi Moore (Star) and Jalyn Armour-Davis (CB) injuries seemed to affect them so much last year at certain points.

We picked on the kid Alabama had at CB in the title game. (Not sure what his name is) The TD Adonai Mitchell caught was over him, I think. A freshman, I think. The injury to the starter hurt you guys.
With more and more teams moving toward throwing the ball more I really think we will see more DB heavy formations like you said.

With these modern passing offenses, there really has to be a ton of depth in that DB room, and those guys have to be adept at multiple positions within the secondary.

lly. Only Bama has been able to counter Kirby's adjustments and film work and they did it with NFL starting QBs + Heisman receivers.

I hope Muschamp sticks around. Be really fun to watch him stick it to Texas, after the way they treated him.

Interesting angle.

Without that HCIW, he could’ve theoretically taken the Auburn job, or the Tennessee job (twice).
