SEC football has long storied history. Don't act like the greatness that was Neyland never happened.

I googled it and see that Neyland coached at Tennessee from 1925 to 1952 which proves the point.
So Tennessee was relevant 70 to 97 years ago, but since 1970, by which time all SEC programs were integrated, Tennessee is 6th in the SEC.
Congratulations.

We were fielding mini NFL teams during the majority of Major's and Fulmer's entire tenures pretty much. When did you start watching football ffs? It moves in cycles. We got slowed down by some awful internal AD and booster politics.

I’ll give Tee Martin credit as the greatest UT QB and that that there are more pics circulating of fatasses in UT gear than any other fan base

Well this list makes it even more impressive that LSU stole Brian Kelly

Tee Martin was clutch in big moments. Peyton was more of a coach on the field. Both great in their own ways. The ice man Casey Clausen was incredibly clutch as well.

Vols must had been really good 70 years ago to be top ten. They haven’t been shite in years.

You know, you'd be a lot less grumpy if you changed out your pad before it got crunchy.

According to that article UT was 5th in the nation from 1940 through 1949. My Grandparents would remember that if they were alive.

He was. Go check his road record against elite opposition. 14-1 on the road. Beat some great UF teams 3 out of 4 times. Owned Bama for the most part as well. There are too many effin zoomers who are new to football on this board.
The Iceman Clausen tough as nails
