Why are we playing baseball this early?

Not trying to cause an argument, but I have lived in two of those States, and it is still icy AF.

No one wants to hit some balls in 30 degree weather.

You didn't back in January.

Like I said, not trying to argue, but give some baseball teams outside of your comfort-zone some slack.

They love the Sport, too.

Please reveal.

I am a bit of a liberal, so, was the argument justified, or not?

I am having to spread my mind between two idiot factions at the moment.

Logic can be a bitch sometimes.

A Democrat wants no interference with the U.S. Government. Thus, Democracy.

A Republican wants a Republic with a sound and total Leader at the very top.

I thought that the South learned from this during our little scuttle.

A liberal gives everyone an equal chance, to decide.

I think that college baseball could wait until May.

This is a very exciting and rewarding sport. Let everyone enjoy it.

Too early, my Baws. These storm systems take 3 days to pass up North. Too cold and miserable.

That weather system was larger than Katrina. And, has lasted 4 days.

Ain't nobody throwing them balls right now.

Think of the little ones trying to face that.

Too cold, my Baws.

Earth?

LINK

That is literally how our Earth works day to day.

No one decides the weather. It just happens, in a predictable manner most of the time. For billions of years now. Sunlight always shines at a particular angle. Thus, the seasons.

The further you are more North, the colder it gets.

Simple Science.

The angle of Earth in relation to the sun is just now reaching the Northern Hemisphere.

Thus, very cold. Not chilly, not jacket-weather...but icy.

No balls on the ground, today.

Aluminum bats would explode.

The south has always produced the most baseball talent in this country. Weather probably plays a big role in that.

Ah yes, the old "use big words to sound smart while at the same time espousing the stupidest, most illogical positions" bit. Sorry buddy, but this shtick has been used before on this board, more than once.

29 degrees with snow this weekend in the Great Lakes region. 50s today with rain. We haven't had snow on the ground for a few weeks though.

Speaking of, the state of Missouri will have it's first D1 program since '79.
