I think he did originally attribute it to alopecia flaring because of COVID. Not sure if he ever took that back or not, but more recent interviews just blame alopecia because of age.

Lost ALL respect for him when he willingly participated in Alex English (BOT member) holding the funding for our Medical School bldg hostage in exchange for keeping Frank thru this season. Showed me very clearly Frank was NOT about what was best for Carolina, it was all about what was best for him personally.

Man y’all deserve a good hire. It’s been a rough 10 years minus that incredible final four run. Martin hasn’t just been mediocre, his teams have been boring as well.

Dave Odom actually put more trophies in the case than Frank Martin, too.
South Carolina - never finished ranked in the T25 in any of Frank Martin's seasons as coach. the highest any of his teams were ever ranked was 16 - for a total of 2 weeks.
Frank Martin was largely over-paid for the results he delivered over 10 seasons.
