that's just silly. St Louis is basically a yankee Memphis with an MLB baseball team

and this is far from accurate. When was the last time you've been to Nashville? 1998?

RIP what used to be Nashville. $2 beers, no covers, $110 hotels, yelpers not flooding good eats. Was a fun place to party.

I will say, it has been since the SEC tourney in what, 2018?

No, and its not even close. STL is what, more than 2 times the size? So of course theres more to do. Talk about being silly?

Lol this is always the argument that gets me the most. 'STL food sucks because its only the 4th best city for BBQ'. Yes BBQ is 2nd in what we're actaully known for. Weak argument, you'll need more.

Also downtown does suck. Im sure you've been to clayton, midtown, forest park area, UCITY, soulard, CWE, webster groves, kirkwood, chesterfield, or main st.

Those are all massive size areas inside of STL that im sure youve never been that stack with areas of other cities. STL biggest issue is we just dont care about our downtown because we have 2

Wish the SEC football championship should be rotated between Nashville and Atlanta if they ever build a stadium.

Hell no. That would give Vandy too big of an advantage in the SECCG.

man if you havent been just say it.

Our ghetto is a small irrelvent(geographically)to the rest of the area. Our Wonderful Ghetto, though small in square miles just happens to pack a large punch within said area.

Also my orginal post was a little extra, I dont hate nashville, I should have agreed with an "overrated" more than "kinda sucks"

Nashville is tgoat and is an ideal place to hold any event. If you build it, they will come.

KC, just like any other large city has it's rough parts, but I'm a STL area transplant and love it here...KC has come a long way and has a ton of momentum going forward. Will it be red hot like Austin, Nashville, ATL in terms of infill development? No, but I love the pace here and the metro is growing at a very manageable level. See quite a few transplants from CA and even some from Texas (mainly trying to escape the hustle and bustle of Dallas and Houston). Not a trend from TX, but definitely a trend from CA. KC is very far from a shithole.

Also to add...have spent significant time in Nashville, it's an awesome city, going through some growing pains, but tbh I think has made the city better. Downtown in particular is awesome.

Metro area? No, not even close. Nashville has about 2 million in the metro area. St Louis has about 2.8. And Nashville is one of the fastest growing cities in the country. If you’re talking about Memphis, sure, but size has nothing to do with the comparison I was talking about. Culturally they’re very similar. Poverty, crime, racial divide, corrupt politics, (bbq), etc. I’m from Memphis and have been to St Louis a number of times. I’m not just comparing them for the hell of it. I’ve felt very much “at home” every time I’ve been to St Louis
