Dan Dackich interview with Coach Pearl

Damn that was an excellent interview. I never knew Bruce was so big on God and country.

Harsin needs to take some notes. Pearl is amazing. He is humble, open, and you can tell he cares for his players and coaches.

That is a FANTASTIC interview/conversation.

I've always known Bruce is a great basketball coach and always seemed to be a pretty genuine guy regardless of his past NCAA transgressions. But that interview right there just cemented him as an all timer of AU sports for me. In the age we live in where people have to censor themselves for fear of being at the bottom of a dogpile, this guy is talking about his faith, understanding other's faith, and patriotism and how this generation should be thankful for those that came before them...

That's just amazing. No matter what the guy does going forward outside of committing a major felony, I am a BP fan for life. Auburn got lucky bringing that guy in board.


Also loved hearing him talk about how this team was put together. How the new portal rules were crucial even after losing recruiting battles and being devastated over losing them. Only for it to work out in the end. Fantastic stuff.
