Don't follow softball much at all, but it sure seems like Torina has the program pretty stale right now. Not a good start to the season to drop 2 games with Illinois, Central Arkansas and South Alabama in town especially the 2 you lose you scored just 2 runs in each game which seemingly was the issue last year is the offense being stagnant often. Now UCA and USA arent bad mid-majors by any shape looking at 2021 records but gotta fix your problems. Last year finished the year scoring 3 runs over 2 games in the S.R. loss.

Looking back at Torina's history here, we havent made the CWS since 2017. We've made supers in 2018, 2019 and 2021 (no tourney in 2020), but in the last 2 have scored just 3 runs total in the 2 losses in 2018 and 2019.
In 2021 our line was .269/.359/.451
In 2018 our line was .260/.342/.384
Just not great. Had a good line in 2019 but still sputtered hard against in supers losing to Minnesota 5-3, 3-0 of all teams.

Kilfoyl would be a super star playing anywhere else than Bama. I was told by someone who would definitely know that the players had rather face Fouts than Kilfoyl in practice.
My daughter played them in the fall and Kilfoyl can sling it and has a hell of a change up.
