Not gonna lie, it's been a rough year for the U of A so far.

Will Astra be required to reimburse the school for the loss?

I feel awful, I actually know one of the kids that was on the team who designed and built the satellite. They're devastated. It took a huge amount of effort and time on their part, and was really a once in a lifetime opportunity for them.

Dang that sucks. I hate that for the students that worked on this for years. But they can still put this on their resume and can basically name any engineering job they want.

On another note. How impressive is our Engineering department? It seems like they are making huge strides in becoming a known quality school. It seems like we win a bunch of competitions against other engineer schools. It's unfortunate we don't get credit for that in the "rankings".

Damn, we had a satellite? That's pretty cool.

Only the US Military Academy has an older Civil Engineering program. Offering courses since 1838.
