Florida is in shambles. Complete rebuild mode. Years away from relevancy.

Auburn is in shambles. Complete rebuild mode. Years away from relevancy.

Tenn is still the Tenn we know - irrelevant since the early 2000's.

South Carolina doesn't have another Spurrier in the works.

Kentucky is overachieving, which I give most credit to the underachieving of the above schools.

Outside the conference-

Clemson is falling off. Notre Dame is in rebuild. Georgia Tech has been in shambles for years with no signs of improvement. Perennial Powerhouse Ohio State is now 7 years removed from their last NC.

UGA just won the National Championship and finished with another Top 3 Class. No signs of slowing.

Other than something crazy like Saban leaving Alabama, is this as good as it gets?

The Braves and Dawgs both won titles in the same year. I don’t think any of us fully appreciate yet just how absolutely insane that fact is.

The last time a college football and Major League Baseball team in close proximity to one another won titles in the same year were Harvard and the Red Sox in 1912 (Oakland A’s/USC and Cornell/Yankees both won in the same year but neither are within 150 miles of the other).

Last October was far and away the greatest month in Georgia sports history. There may be other titles in the near future but time will only age the 2021 experience like a fine wine in our minds

Its a repeat of what Saban did to the Sec West and Tn.

We are doing to the SEC east and Auburn.

Uf screwed up big time firing Grantham then Mullen. 14th in the sec in recruiting behind Vandy.

All these fired coaches are hilarious.

They have self destructed while we get stronger.

It just cost me $90 bucks to fill my gas tank.

Another 7% of my income and savings has been stolen from me through inflation .

Everything authentic, good, thoughtful, or funny is being targeted for cancellation by the worst scum on earth

A global plague was leaked from a lab in china, and their punishment is that they get to host the olympics right now

Two years after last episode, Better Call Saul season 6 still hasnt even announced a premiere date

81 million people supposedly voted for the vile liar dimentia patient in cheif. Yeah, right

Georgia is a blue state now thanks to fulton county and its neighbors and the cheaters who rig elections there

Mass formation psychosis is 100% real in every country on earth. And it isnt going anywhere

I still dont have my sense of smell back all the way

But at least the bread and circuses are working out for the home teams!! Go Dawgs! Weeeeee

I think UT is on the move, although I'm not sure how much of a move. Gonna keep an eye on Carolina, but I suspect they're at least another year or two away from at least competing on a higher level. UK is staying consistent with their HC, and I believe they will continue to be good. I don't think UF is in as bad a position than Auburn. Wonder if Ross Perot will have A&M in top form. He doesn't impress me, but they do have that 30 million dollar contract, so...

Bama gonna Bama, LSU?...not yet. Ole Piss?...depends on their QB play. Too lazy to go over the rest...

It’s never been better in regards to all of our main rivals being unranked.

Tech is at their all-time low

Florida is an inconsistent mess

Auburn is starting to have Tennessee-level administrative drama

Tennessee is in the midst of the wilderness with no signs of leaving soon

And then there’s Georgia. Smoking a cigar with a national title trophy and no real drama to speak of.

No, there has never been a better time to be a Dawgs fan. Ever.

Florida isn’t entirely in shambles, but we will have significantly more talent then them the next couple of seasons at least. Tennessee will be decent, but like Florida we will have more talent on both sides. South Carolina is the team that gives me the most pause. Beamer came to Athens with the best game plan of any opponent besides Alabama last season. Now he has Rattler and Oklahoma’s tight end, plus not bad recruiting. We will be better, but we can’t frick around. Auburn is in shambles, but we have to go undefeated again unless we can beat Alabama or Texas A&M in Atlanta.

Yes. We really need to appreciate what we have currently and soak in every moment because UGA football has never been in better shape in our history than we are right now.

-The early/mid 40s might be up there but there was that whole "world war" thing, and you can argue that our success during that time period mainly hinged on 2 players
-The early 80s we had a great run but you could pin the majority of that success on one player if you wanted to. It's not hard to see how we did the 3 years preceding him then the 3 years after him to draw that conlusion.

We are currently one of the premier teams in america and are doing it without a reliance on one or two megastud heisman winners to carry us, meaning there's no real end in sight to how long this can take us.
