The longer this draws out, the more it seems like Harsin will be retained or hes getting the entire buy out.

Agreed. He returns today and it’ll get announced. This has been going on since Thursday, almost a week now, too much damage has been done at this point.

Today is the day that the PTB sees Harsin at the water cooler and asks Harsin how his vacation went.

Talked to a current D1 coach yesterday who says the common perspective in his world is it's a witch hunt, FWIW.

Any chance he pretends his luggage got lost just to drag this out another 55 minutes?

At this point, would it be more damaging to keep him?

Yes it’s pointless because he will either lose and be fired or win and get the hell out

I doubt anything happens today. For starters the “investigation” isn’t over until they sit down with Harsin and his lawyers and get his version. Since he’s been out of town that has yet to happen

To be fair we don’t know what the admin was told or who told it to them. It could be a witch hunt where Harsin was accused of something, they had no choice but to investigate, and then didn’t find much

Nobody really knows at this point though

Yeah but do you send him to the sec coaches meeting where there will be media and have him blast the university while wearing AU? I don’t think they’ll risk it.

I mean they can fire him him without cause without really getting his opinion. Coaches have been left at tarmacs before lol

But a settlement/buyout will obviously require Harsin there

Do you think almost two dozen fans will meet him at the airport?

Would seem that way, even for him. Take the money and play the victim, some school with no boosters and lower expectations would hire him quickly
