Best Bama athlete of all time?

Current rankings

1. Herb
2. Mark Ingram
3. Roman Harper

In all seriousness, great showing tonight closing out the nuggets. 25 points on 8-10 shooting and elite defense.

18 in the 4th quarter!

Love Herb!! They are selling “Not on Herb” t-shirts at the Smoothie King Center. Already a fan favorite.

Was saying in the draft process that he’s probably the next Draymond Green.

Get him a good pair of scorers in the backcourt to play beside and he will be the glue guy who makes it all work.

Herb has become a fan favorite in N.O. He is so popular that fans demanded the team store to start stocking his jersey. We love him with the Pels.

Every time I hear or see his name I think of Herff Jones, the company that sells graduation stuff.

He's showing out. And I'll always refer to him as Herbert, in recognition of his grandfather.

Old school.

Congrats on naming only Bama athletes that went pro in New Orleans.

You should remember Shaun Alexander, he ran for 300 yards on you guys.

Also Derrick Thomas.

I hated Herb as the opponent. Could tell in college he was going to translate well to the nba. Extremely hard worker with a lot of skills and raw potential in other areas. Was stoked pelicans got him. He covered jokic pretty well a few times last night which is wild to think about. He’s a very likable player and almost seems like a solid backup point with how well he sees the court.

Herb is certainly one of the most unappreciated Bama players of all time. I love his game but had to debate dumbasses for 4 years on his contributions. Mostly younger posters who had never played anything but video games and had a Basketball IQ of a pile of rocks. It is great to see him continuing to improve his shot range.

Honestly, I rank his one-handed, off-hand free throws with the game on the line up there with all-time Bama sports moments.
