Brings back memories of Radio Foster doing this, then getting picked up mid visit and going to Bama. I'm beyond cautiously optimistic

My guess is that they’re not staying overnight. And as others have mentioned, it’s no big deal really. They’ve seen the campus a hundred times and did the whole OV thing.

Even if they were staying with friends, they’d probably do an OV because, unless things have changed, the player host gets some funds for the visit

Have yall seen these are stories out that Isaiah Jatta committed to us? I saw one from SI too but the article has been deleted. Did someone jump the gun? There is nothing on Auburn sites saying this.

They aren’t Auburn until I see one of these on their arms.

Heck odds are we dont get them, cost bama a fortune and we save enough money to pay for an entire DL for what they alone are probably asking. Its all good however it plays out.

The fact that we can spend what bama spends and not get in trouble gives me warm and tingling feelings.

All of these sites have articles ready to go about commitments and flips. Sounds like the SI folks just didn’t read hard enough

I’ve read that SI has all these micro sites that are run by random folks. SI name but mom and pop journalism. Therefore, things like this happen from time to time.

What is really the difference as far as the on campus experience? With an OV Auburn pays their travel etc, UOV they pay it?

OV is a whole planned out weekend. Arrive Friday afternoon, dinner at a restaurant on AU’s dime, stay at AU hotel. Saturday full of tours/presentations with lunch in the middle, maybe an activity depending on the kid (like bowling), dinner in the Broadway Club of the stadium. Sunday is coaches meetings and lunch at the complex or a to go box depending on flight/departure time.

UOV’s are drive down on your own dime, usually a cramming all the meetings and tours into 6-8 hours, then depart for home. All meals paid for by the kid. They can pay something like $30 for lodging to stay on a current athlete’s couch.

If you come in more than 2 UOV’s, you’ve seen everything and are just bonding.

He can go out there and listen to Deion tell them he (as in himself) is a winner, all year, while they lose and transfer here next season.

The UOV for Russaw and Smith is likely to get them to sit down with OTV and review what they’d be worth

I'm waiting on Deion and Lane to cross each other on Twitter after one gets a player from the other.

If Deion has sucsess @ Colorado in the next 3 years, he's dipping. They don't have the money to keep him or for NIL
