It had to be more than just effort. There is no way he took that job thinking that he would not have to recruit. I just dont think people liked him or his personality
You cant possible take a job as a SEC program and decide not to recruit

Good question Weagle25, wondered the same. It looks like he didnt play a lot, even when they were moving around people this past season he couldnt secure a starting spot.
Definitely not size I think he is now six foot six and 348 pounds.

That is what I was at thinking, but I am starting to believe he thought he could just mold who he wanted and follow the MWC blueprint to 10-12 wins. He stepped into adult time recruiting league and had no clue how to build relationships. He wasn't given a process for that.

KN/On3 is reporting that 5* DT James Smith and his dad will visit AU Saturday but Russaw will not.
