Did you miss the circus side show earlier in the year?

Corch, u r right they did but since mid-way through Gus it’s become a crap show. Every yr, are we gonna fire him, blah blah and it just hurt the environment and it’s continued through this winter

Hell, they hired Harsin knowing he’s got no experience against these types of coaches, wonder if they thought they’d control him!

If you remember correctly if all reporting was real then ADAG went rogue and got his guy. Meaning he didn’t have the full blessings of the PTB.

Isn't ADAG's contract up soon? If he doesn't get an extension that might be an indication he did go rogue?

I don’t trust our best reporters completely but they all were in accordance that this was a Green only hire. Which is fine but when you do that with out the money folks behind you then it is what it is.

I think it’s pretty obvious PTB didn’t give their blessing. Pretty sure they’d give more slack in their leash if they had.

I'm pretty sure recruiting would be going better if they had, NIL money would be pouring in to ensure "their guy" succeeded

I don’t believe it all as ADAG had to get the $$$$ approval. I do believe they hoped to get CKS but after the uproar it was an impossibility and they moved on.

That’s just my common sense opinion

I’m guessing their guy would do more than a handful of visits in the weeks leading up to NSD. Even “relationships building” junior day was a bust.

But continue with the victim card.

I think literally anyone else's guy would also be doing far more than what we are seeing now.

I haven't at any point been overly thrilled about Harsin being hired, or retained. At this point his days are probably numbered, barring miracles

The schools that lose their last five games of the seasons generally don’t recruit great. We all have knownHarsin will have to let the season legitimize his recruiting pitch for a while now. Our recruiting ills are only surprising because we continue to let this new territory of shite recruiting surprise us.

I was prepared for crappy recruiting this season using last season as a guide and it’s still worse then I could have imagined.

For those NIL NIL NIL folks… you can not bribe a recruit with money if we are to stay in the lines handed down by the ncaa. Now some states have laws that allow more with money then the state of Alabama allows so at its core NIL isn’t fair because different schools in different states have different laws. But the guy over the Auburn Spirit NIL basically came out last fricking week and said the money and opportunity was there for all players in all sports. So either he is lying or money is available.

People need to study NIL a little deeper then thinking we can go offer Arch Manning $3 million to sign with AU. That’s not how it works

Neither here nor there, but Bill and Fam were on my OA News paper route. Awesome guy. They lived two houses away from Memorial Park Cemetery next to the old AHS. Good memories. Thank you.

The question is how low we can go.

Here is 2008 recruiting class if you want to find rock bottom.

LINK

There are obviously a myriad of factors that is affecting our recruitingbut what hurts is on paper state of Alabama is stacked. It was a missed oppty.

Just because I like to post. My non-exhaustive list of factors affecting recruiting rn:

-Harsin did not seem inclined to recruit even when he wasn’t poison pilled.
-“He from the north” circus
-PTB pig headed
-Alabama and Georgia are elite
-NIL
-Auburn NIL sucks
-Tennessee, Florida schools, Arkansas seem to be doing well which makes our class seem even weaker. (What’s going on with Auburn and Ole Miss?!)
-staff turnover- Nick Eason still reeling them in
-Weak finish to the season
- Harsin hasn’t proven himself at Auburn yet. This is obviously the most critical.

2008 was the worst Auburn recruiting class ever. Ever.

Side note didn't we get "credit" for Raven Grey for like 3 recruiting cycles? I think on Rivals we did
