Sorry in advance, but I can’t seem to quite mesh what it seems you want to say here.

Yet, somehow, I get you. WE Corch.

Insider means you have info from within the athletic department. I don’t have that however I did for a couple years there but that means nothing now.

I know multiple players/coaches all across the state. I know almost all the coaches for both football and baseball to most of the coaches in the bham metro area. The reason I spoke on Amon is I know him on a personal basis. See him often and his Coach/adopted father regularly. A lot of us is a big club that kind of hang together and discuss things.

That’s why a few posts ago I said that Amon was ready to be done with the recruiting process he’s just that type of kid. And one of his new friends/teammates is almost the opposite personality in Davion Dozier. But Davion isn’t as highly rated and is a ‘23 kid so he’s about to commit tomorrow. I would say it’s 60/40 lead for Tennessee over Arky for Davion. Amon will be announcing AU soon.

I know a lot of the Trussville kids but have never developed a friendship with Hunter Osbourne that’s why you’ve never read me talking about his recruitment. However I think LSU may lead for him but I don’t know that. Trussville has a lot of really good high school players this year but low on elite players. I mention Trussville because they normally have 1-2 SEC players each year. But if Springville had anyone Pell City Ramsey Pleasant Grove I would most likely know the coach or possibly the player from any of those type schools. If I don’t know I say so but if I do know I do I share it. So as with any post I make either take it or leave it doesn’t matter to me

Where are we in the pursuit of Vysen Lang (OL 330 pd 6’6) out of Pike Road?

Gus told Harsin you don’t need Olinemen, so Harsin said ok!

That recruit is a dire need and could start as a freshman… If Harsin can’t make inroads and land instate quality recruits he should have been fired last January. Track record is trending extremely bad at the moment. It isn’t my dime but our PTB, internal squabbling and lack of a focus has lead us to this point. We are now Shula era UAT without the capacity to get anything right.

He’ll be at Big Cat. He’s an interior guy. He’s been at Auburn a handful of times throughout the spring. I think Auburn will ramp up the recruitment of him

It seems like Harsin wants these big tall lineman.

From The Athletic's "Recruiting Mailbag" comes this question from subscriber Chris P: "Is Auburn as dead in recruiting as it appears?"

Paraphrased answer: well, yeah, pretty much.

According to the author, Ari Wasserman, AU doesn't appear to be in the mix for many top 100 players nationally. Says main reason is "nobody expects Bryan Harsin to be around a year from now".

And so it goes.

PTB better be ready to make a homerun hire next time, because they really screwed the pooch earlier this year. Hopefully, they are ready to get in line and quit being rogue. It took the Mike, Mike, and Mike years for uat boosters to get on the same page.

Need a new thread title that demonstrates how recruiting is going. Ideas welcomed

Bonus points if you can format it to fit the typical: “Recruiting Thread: ________ Edition”

Made Top 6 for 4* OT Vysen Lang along with Tennessee, LSU, Arkansas, Texas, and UGA

Made Top 4 for 4* WR Khai Prean along with Mississippi State, LSU, and Florida State.

Caleb Jones says he likes Lang's chances more than Prean's but says neither are takes rn but Lang may wait it out.

So we have a 4*OT and a 4* WR and they are not takes IF they wanted to come here.

It wouldn’t surprise me if the staff is floundering on purpose. AU has never sunk this low.

I should've edited it to say "doesn't think" instead of "says" cause Caleb said he doesn't think either are takes right now. Idk if he's basing that off of opinion or inside knowledge, that's just what he wrote when someone asked about our chances with them.
