But I'm not totally insulated from the news surrounding our program's basketball squad. I see the scores and generally know when they win or lose. With that all being said, I do have a question - why are they so two-faced? I see them losing to unranked teams like Georgia and Missouri before blowing the breaks off of highly ranked teams like Baylor and Gonzaga. Is there a particular reason for this? I find the inconsistencies somewhat confusing. Is it coaching? Is it talent?

A lack of effort/energy against the bad teams, especially defensively, combined with a shooting slump.
It also doesn’t seem like there’s a strong leader on the team like Herb Jones was last year.

Those bad losses were on the road, majority of them being last 2nd losses.

The difference in play of JQ against UGA and Baylor was night and day, and Batman returning was huge.

Idk why the downvote. I understand your point totally. I'm the exact same way. I keep up with scores most weeks, that's about it. I see the same pattern. One would think this forum would be a good place to ask said question.
