It's embarrassing how dumb some of our fans are about basketball. There's nothing wrong with wanting the team to be good and having high expectations. But we have some window lickers on the bandwagon. We have lots of good fans too though.

Basically Mark Gottfried.

The larger arena in Seattle meant 17K screaming Gonzaga fans instead of only 6k at their campus stadium.

I haven't looked up the stats, ..but I bet Oats has won more SEC road games last year alone, than Gottfried in his 1st 5+ years.

I don’t think anyone realistically wanted him gone. They just know the potential of this team and when wins like this happen it makes the losses to terrible teams that much worse.

I think it’s 100% fair to say you don’t know a fricking thing about basketball or what it takes to coach basketball. Just my opinion to question you, right?

Yeah, I'm down with questioning coaching decisions this season, but the ones questioning if he's the guy for the job or saying last season was just because we had CAJ's guys are a bit annoying. Even more infuriating is the fact that it's mostly these same guys that call him "Oates" as if he's not been coaching here for 3 years.

Wasn't we 26-7 last year?...Won the SEC REGULAR SEASON CHAMPIONSHIP and the SEC TOURNAMENT!
