You can lead horses to water, but how much they drink depends on their own thirst.

Oddly enough, some of the same issues seemed to plague our football team this past season.

Very accurate assessment. If I compare our FB and BB motivational position; in FB there is a tradition of excellence that passes from year to year that CNS preaches constantly. That has built over time, look at 2010. That motivated tradition in BB has been lost over the last several BB coaches. It will take sometime to reestablish. IMHO CNO can do that. But it's not all on him. It comes from the players having the pride to play to their capabilities every game.

You can also struggle with getting the horse to the water.

The great thing about Oats is he didn't point the blame at the horse like fans love to do.

He realized he was struggling and enlisted help to help him and the horse.

Absolutely positively NO PEARL. So glad he is not our coach.

Fine. You can be glad for various reasons. But Bruce Pearl's ability and proven success as a basketball coach is beyond debate.

Has nothing to do with who's the better coach just because they make it to the final four. Pearl ain't better than Oats. His team just got hot at the right time.

This isn't even a remotely intelligent comment. It's not about just one Final 4 appearance. He has the #1 team in the country right now. Is that also "getting hot at the right time"?

And yours is? Now that's funny!

Check the strength of schedule for both teams and get back with me.
