I almost feel sorry for them. I don't know if you could find another team in the country that has fallen so far over a prolonged steady period of decline and disappointment in a perfect arc of misery than Tech.

Gonna by very difficult.The one thing that helped resurrect
the program beck in the 80's and 90's was a well connected and wealthy alumni base that GAS about athletic success and now those guys are dying off and replaced by a base that really doesn't care about athletic success Now their AD is leveraged to the hilt and in serious financial trouble.
Not sure if they get out of the tailspin.

Saw a few Tech guys on Twitter talking about dropping to the FCS level. They see it as the only chance for them to return to a modicum of relevance. I had tears in my eyes from laughing so hard.
The biggest laugh came when another set of Tech fans were talking about how they need to invest in a men's soccer team, and try to get out in front of "America's next big sport"

What's so odd is the most miserable Tech fans are the people who never even attended Tech.
They're always the, "Well, my great uncle attended Tech for 2 semesters in the 50's so we've been fans ever since" types.
These are the same fans that quickly call us inbred, uneducated filth as if their mere fandom of Georgia Tech is equivalent to a degree from the North Avenue Trade School.
