Privately, Flores was not a big fan of his starting quarterback.
The picture one gets from multiple sources, including coaches on the Flores staff, is of a coach frustrated by Tagovailoa’s work ethic. Flores thought it was, per one source, “sh-tty.”
Flores was frustrated because he didn’t think Tagovailoa put in extra time on Mondays and Tuesdays during game week.

Flores is a shitty coach

I think Flores is a good coach, just didn’t align with the GM and owner on the Tua pick. Flores actually did a much better job with the Dolphins than Saban did.

Is work ethic why Tua has butter fingers?

Tua was a tremendous college quarterback, but he doesn’t have the mental acumen to succeed in the pros.

Tua was an outstanding college QB, but gets hurt allot and just kind of looks sandlot in the NFL and unless you are Mahomes that shite ain't flying in the NFL

Honestly we were a better offense with Mac once he got some experience. He worked his arse off and was as prepared as the coaches when it came to the game plan. Ran a more expansive offense with Mac Jones. Didn’t have quite the arm talent of Tua but he could still make all the throws.

Jones has better arm talent than Tua

never forget Tua got severely injured on a meaningless drop back during a blowout because…Saban reasons

He got injured because he never learned to throw the ball away.

You're right, 15-17 his first 2 seasons was much better than Saban's 15-17 in his 2 seasons

Flores had a STRONG 15-17, you see

You were expecting intelligence about football from an L2U fan?

One of those coaches was fired. Take your time, we all know this can be hard for LSU girls.

Tia is upset about his pay cut since leaving Alabama.

This will be tough for ignorant t-shirt Bama fans to understand, but I’ll try to explain. Flores’ first year in Miami, in 2019, he was given a team gutted of talent. The team traded away some of its best players to try to tank. Flores still managed to go 5-11. He then went 10-6 and 9-8 the past two years. Total record: 24-25.
Saban went 9-7 his first year, then dropped to 6-10. Total record: 15-17.
So you are misstating Flores’ total record and ignoring the fact that the team improved during his tenure. Saban’s team regressed.

It was the second quarter.

Flores only got fired because he didn’t want Tua and the GM and Owner did. Not about performance. He will have another NFL job quickly. Saban ran back to school-kid ball, because he could not cut it in the pros.

Not to state the obvious but you are pretty damn slow. Being honest.
