The only thing he failed at was signing Drew Brees. I’m glad he didn’t and LSU fans by and large should be too.
If you really think the only thing he did wrong was that, you’re being real kind. As a lifelong Saints fan I’m grateful he passed on Brees. Of course Bammers will say it was because the medical personnel didn’t sign off on it, not because Saban didn’t want him. You know because the Dolphins doctors had more control over personnel than Saban did.

Wow, Flores should have been given the keys to the organization. Well excuse me.
Village idiots abound.
Mike Bianca hates Saban for leaving to this day. Such a failure.

Not to mention, that 6-10 team improved to 1-15 the next year after Saban left. MeltyWoman is a dumbass about football. Really should stick to women's sports.

Thanks for proving my point Early. It’s a shame the Dolphins didn’t let poor Nick have any control over personnel decisions.

Leaving sucked, going to Alabama really sucked. Even with him saying leaving LSU was the biggest professional mistake he ever made

It would never have worked, because Saban was too stubbornly tyrannical for the pro game. Culpepper couldn’t tolerate his act. You honestly believe a pro’s pro, like Brees, would have?! Brees would have demanded a trade after the first year. Payton, on the other hand, was Brees’ football soul mate, and it worked out perfectly.

You are so dense you dont comprehend you are literally discussing the same team that just fired their coach for the sole reason of him not liking the QB the GM wanted. My god yall are amazingly stupid.
You are literally proving us correct.

I always has this feeling in the back of my head about Tua. If his Dad wasn’t around does he really live and breathe football.
I always thought his pops wanted it more than he did.

How to contradict yourself in 3 sentences.

I disagree. Drew is the consummate pro. He would have worked in Miami, maybe not to the extent with Payton. Fortunately for my pro team Saban passed on Brees. Unfortunately for my college team he passed on Brees.

This is awesome. Post more meaningless stats to try and distort reality.
King Flores, crown him now.

Their fanbase is butthurt from many things.
- Being left at the altar by Saban.
- Knowing they turned him down when he wanted to come back.
- Bama's ongoing success with Saban. He and the administration have built the 'gold' standard of college football programs. So much that Kirby Smart is trying to duplicate. Their envy simply shines. And remember how they each kept saying he was leaving or retiring? LMAO.
- Saban taking athletes from their back yard and developing them into world-class, next level athletes. Devonta Smith is an example.
- The complete dumpster fire their current program is in.
- NIL passed them by while they were paying top-dollar to field losing teams.
- Other SEC teams are replacing them in prominence.
I'd be butt-hurt also... They may never recover. I remember how, the season before 2019, many of these same folks were wanting out of the SEC completely. If they don't compete in the next 3-4 years, we may see them return to this narrative.

The picture one gets from multiple sources, including coaches on the Flores staff, is of a coach frustrated by Tagovailoa’s work ethic. Flores thought it was, per one source, “sh-tty.”
If you need a QB to do more than throw a Slant…he ain’t your guy.

Oh lord Early, I almost feel bad that someone could be so stupid. Read what you just wrote. The Miami Dolphins were owned by Wayne Huizinga when Saban coached there. They are now owned by Stephen Ross. Literally the only things the same about them today are the nickname, the team colors and they play in the Miami area. What a complete fail of a post.

What an absolutely retarded comparison to make, but then again you are Melty Man for a reason.
Not defending Tua when I make these comments, but it’s generally understood everybody hated Flores. Had no good relationships in the organization, was not liked on his staff, was hard headed and did not work well with others. That’s why he was canned

All of us high IQ football fans knew Tua would flop in the NFL!
Tua has the mental makeup of an 11 year old kid, not that of a killer on the football field like Joe Burrow or Tom Brady. It was only the low IQ fans that couldn’t see it.

I said the same team, not the same owner. Another fail for you.
The principle is the same, doesn't matter who the owner is. You're just trying to distract from me pointing out the stupidity of your argument. The Ringer just wrote an article on it this week.
