Every defense to ever play a 15-game season in CFB (has only happened in the playoff era) ranked by total points allowed in the season:
2021 Georgia - 153
2016 Alabama - 195
2018 Clemson - 197
2019 Clemson - 203
2015 Alabama - 227
2017 Georgia - 246
2016 Clemson - 270
2018 Alabama - 271
2021 Alabama - 302
2015 Clemson - 325
2019 LSU - 328
2014 Ohio State - 330
2014 Oregon - 354
*2017 Alabama didn’t make the SECCG, so they only played 14 games to win the title that year, however, they still allowed 167 points, so 2021 Georgia still tops that in both total points allowed and points per game allowed.
Defense still wins championships

Hmm. It's Georgia week. So I won't challenge it. Congrats again!

That is pretty damn impressive, especially considering that almost a third of that points total came in one game.

Can you do Oklahoma for fun?

Bama accounted for over 30% of those points lol

nahh. Alabama, with 2 healthy receivers, pounded that defense in the SEC title game.
In fact, Alabama's defense stifled UGA's offense better than UGA stopped Alabama, in both games.

I mean we could go down the road of "Yeah but" if you'd like. But the numbers don't lie.

UGA's D had to play a Heisman winner... Alabama's D had to play a former walk-on 3rd string QB.

You do realize that 41 isn't really that close to 1/3 of 153. 1/4 is more like it, but claiming things that aren't true is kind of y'all thing.... Just say congrats Dawgs & move on

And if they had done it again in Indy, Georgia would still win this ranking.
But they didn’t, so it’s a moot point and your entire post is worth only its weight in sour grapes.

Almost: /'ôl?most/ (adverb) Not quite; very nearly.

Bama scored 59 on them

GOAT status - up for review.

7 points were because of a pick 6. Two other touchdowns were turnovers with a short field.

That actually is very impressive, and not trying to take anything away from that feat, but it did seem like the SEC offenses were pretty bad this year. Auburn was complete crap on offense this past year.

He said "in one game".... Math is his weakness & reading comprehension is your weakness

God damnit Alabama. You did this.

You missed the 4th quarter

Well, 41 is not almost, not quite or very nearly 1/3 of 153... 41 X 3 = 123 in case you're wondering... Carry on

Only as a result of UGAs staff doing a complete 180 on the scheme they had employed all year.
UGA went back to it’s normal scheme playing pressure and man coverage in the CFP title game.
If you can’t overcome losing players with the depth that Bama has, a Heisman winning QB, and the best defensive player in CF, coulda, shoulda, woulda will just have to be your mental medication from here on out.

2021 Georgia, 2018 Clemson, 2016 Alabama, 2016 Clemson, and 2015 Alabama seem to stand out among the others.
