5-7 (soon 6-8) in bowl games but we have 5 teams in the AP TOP 25 in basketball. Has the SEC shifted focus?

Since there are two SEC teams playing in the CFB championship Monday I would say this is still a football conference

You'll have an argument if we can pack the Final 4 this year.

2 SEC teams would be huge

According to the Rant, nothing short of a national title means anything, so the Final 4 is not good enough

The conference is getting much better in basketball but overall is still seen as football first. But it’s gotten way better

Yep...completely understand this perspective from an AU fan.

I had a similar discussion recently that posed a question that might apply here. When was the last time the SEC had this many talented teams?

Yep, two in the national title game, and a NYD 10 win bowl team. Football conference.
