Do you think we’ll beat Houston? If so why?

I do not.

We have TJ Finley at QB. They just showed him in Bowl practice missing WRs with no defense. Next best option is Davis who’s young and apparently hasn’t impressed in practice either.

“Don’t worry we’ll run the ball more”. When we have run the ball this year, we haven’t been that good at it. Houston has the 11th ranked rush defense in the country and they’ll be able to stack the box because Finley and Davis aren’t beating them.

So basically our only hope is the defense scores or shuts them out. And we have McClain not playing. McCreary not playing. So realistically…

I just don’t see much reason to be optimistic about this game.

I hope so as well but I think we are going to be disappointed.

I'm gon' be cheering my arse off tomorrow

I think it's an important game to finish with a win with all the disappointment the latter part of the season.

I don't know a whole lot about Houston or the motivation level of our guys. I suspect Harsin isn't one to let these guys just go through the motions just because. I think anyone who plays in the game has probably earned their playing time throughout the season and in bowl prep. Now will those guys be enough to win? Who knows.

Gun to my head or mortgage on the line, I would say we lose. But in the overall scheme of things, it doesn't really matter. The next two seasons of football will tell us more about which direction the program is going than the Birmingham Bowl will.

While you make a good point about their rush defense, Zac Blckerby did point out that their level of competition was not that great and games like Cincinnati they struggled in pass rush. So I am optimistic about it.

I also don’t know anything about Houston.

I know about their coach and that’s about it.

It will make my work day interesting so that’s the gist of my attachment to it.

I’m thinking we win just because we should probably be 9-3 instead of 6-6.

I think he runs Tank until he blows a track. Hunter comes in to let Tank get fueled up and ready to go again.
TJ throws short passes for 5 yards ....

in the third quarter and back to Tank for the 4th

And 'toss in a wee little' Shenker and Kobeto help give'em a little running room

Would really like to see Davis with several designed runs.

That was my mind earlier. I am going with my gut as I read some things through the day. Don’t be like my wife and remind me what I may have said earlier.

And just wanted to be on record of how I now feel before tomorrow’s game.
