It was less of a flip, and more of him being told to look elsewhere bc we wanted him at DB, but suddenly we're flushed with quality DB recruits

Will he play WR or DB for Kentucky?
Auburn liked him at DB until we had all these other guys come into the fold.
Austin Ausberry (stolen from LSU, LSU legacy), JD Rhym (LSU flip), Marquise Gilbert (#1 JUCO safety) and Kieonte Scott #1 JUCO CB) will have all committed and signed with Auburn by tomorrow. That’s four guys in the secondary.
ETA: Literally all 4 will have committed and signed within a 2 day period which is crazy.

It all has to do with NIL. UK is promising players they will make X amount of money. Not a lot of other schools are doing that. Don't want their reputation tarnished when it turns out to not be true.

I haven’t heard of UK promising anything. That’s just not true. I’m sure they are showing deals that current players have. Everyone on here knows the schools that are promising guaranteed money, UK ain’t one lol

Goodwin has become exhausting to follow. Kid is just entertaining any attention any school will give him, including UK. Has acted like he isn’t committed to anyone the whole time while he’s been committed to us. Kind of tired of him.

Why do schools need to guarantee anything? All a prospect has to do is look at what current players on the roster are getting.

Does anybody else feel bad Jakobi had to settle for a school where the fans don't even care enough to spell his name correctly? Not even like it's a hard name either....
