I don’t see any downside to it.
It’s a pretty cool insight for people not involved in the process, and it makes Saban and Bama look good.
If I were a PR person for Bama athletics, I’d encourage it (with some preliminary fencing about confidential information of course). You never know what future potential recruits will see that video and have an instant affinity to that program.

Saban doesn’t even have to recruit at this point. If you’re a great player and want to win a guaranteed championship in 4 years and likely go to the NFL, you go to Bama
